Holland abolishes taxation of classic cars

Many have already heard or read about it.
Holland is abolishing the regulation for the taxation of classic cars (vehicles older than 30 years) as of January 1, 2019, and increasing the import VAT rate to 9% (previously 6%).

The import VAT rate in Germany remains the same (7%) and thus offers the possibility of more favorable taxation.
